Sungold(R) Names Regulatory Affairs & Simulcast Consultant

SUNGOLD INTERNATIONAL HOLDINGS CORP. ("Sungold") (OTCBB: SGIHF)(Frankfurt: WKN 608164, Berlin) -

Sungold International Holdings Corp. today announced that they have made an agreement with Michael Cichy to act in the capacity of the company's newly created position of Regulatory Affairs and Simulcast Consultant.

Mr. Cichy brings to Sungold® a wealth of experience in simulcast technology and off-track wagering including nine years with Racing Services Inc., a simulcast service provider for off-track wagering sites in North Dakota and Idaho. These sites eventually expanded to South Dakota, Nebraska and Oregon and were located in racetracks, casinos, hotels, bars and stand-alone facilities. During this time period Racing Services Inc. expanded from $15 million in annual wagers to $200 million. Currently Mr. Cichy is Director of Simulcast Services for Premier Turf Club, the Simulcast Service Provider for off-track wagering at the North Dakota Horse Park. Mr. Cichy is very experienced in racing and wagering legislation, having written wagering rules for racing and gaming commissions and testifying at various legislative committees.

-Racing Unified Network (R.U.N.) Inc. Signs Formal Agreement with Las Vegas SportsPageTV™-

Concurrently, Sungold's wholly owned subsidiary, Racing Unified Network (R.U.N.) Inc. announces that it has signed a formal agreement with SportsPageTV™, a company that offers up-to-the minute sports scores and odds using a secure Internet technology. The two companies had been operating under a Letter of Intent as outlined in a Sungold® December 21, 2006 news release.

The agreement calls for Racing Unified Network to have the exclusive right to place the Scoreboard-Sports Television system into all sports bars, restaurants casinos and other interested facilities in Canada, and all racetracks in North America, and on a non-exclusive basis, all interested facilities worldwide, and to sell the 'Place Based Advertising' time between score updates exclusively in Canada and non-exclusively worldwide to facilities not already doing business with SportsPageTV™.

Mr. Simpson adds that this agreement with SportsPageTV™ is important to Sungold's future business plan. "The agreement with SportsPageTV™ is a further indication of how Sungold® is committed to the continual development of our product line, creating new ancillary profit centers designed to generate revenue from commissions on advertising and branding sales for our company. We have identified 'Place Based Advertising' as the marketing medium of the future, one that enjoys tremendous acceptance by advertisers and the agreement with SportsPageTV™ will offer Sungold® a unique venue for worldwide cross-promotional and branding opportunities for our Horsepower® World Pool game and our new Horsepower® World Pool lottery brands."
