Ingenio, the research and development subsidiary of Loto-Québec, and Pollard Banknote Limited Partnership ("Pollard Banknote"), a major gaming and lottery supplier serving more than 45 lottery companies, have signed a new long-term agreement to explore emerging business opportunities in the lottery world.
The new agreement extends a partnership between the organizations that dates back to 2000, updating terms to better reflect evolving processes, procedures, and capabilities. The agreement includes the use of Ingenio's patents for interactive lottery games with a pre-determined outcome.
"Ingenio and Pollard Banknote are equally confident about the position to be staked out by the new products developed based on the resources offered by new technologies," explains Nathalie Rajotte, Director General of Ingenio. "This shared vision favours the creation and release of lottery products that take the entertainment experience a little further, for the benefit of the players."
The agreement is consistent with Pollard Banknote's commitment to launch innovative lottery games that enhance the lineup of products the company brings lotteries and their players, says Gordon Pollard, Co-Chief Executive Officer, Pollard Banknote.
