Despite the influx of nationally known steakhouse brands onto the Atlantic City gourmet restaurant scene over the past few years, the Brighton Steakhouse at the Sands Casino Hotel continues to receive top rankings against new competition from the prestigious Zagat Restaurant Survey. This year, the restaurant achieved its highest honor, having been named the Top Steakhouse in the state of New Jersey. Its score of 26/30 for food puts it in Zagat's highest category -- "extraordinary to perfection."

Serving the most succulent cuts of beef and freshest seafood selections, the Brighton Steakhouse offers diners a full gourmet experience from start to finish. The restaurant has ranked as one of the Top 5 steakhouses in New Jersey every year since 1996. In addition, the steakhouse ranked in the Top 5 of all restaurants in Atlantic City, an achievement marked every year since 2003 when Zagat's began listing restaurant rankings by location.
The level of excellence promises to continue with the arrival of an award-winning new chef. Amassing numerous awards in the culinary arts, including two Iron Chef titles, Chef Joel P. Dincher prides himself on exceeding customer expectations with unique and delectable flavor selections and aesthetically pleasing plate presentations.
Dincher previously worked as executive chef at several restaurants in Harrisburg, PA, including the landmark Maverick Steak House, the multi-award winning Firehouse Restaurant in downtown Harrisburg and his own Mediterranean bistro, Pesce, which received nine Best Restaurant awards during its first year. Dincher graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, and currently resides in Brigantine, NJ.
