PokerStars.com (www.PokerStars.com), the world's largest poker tournament website, announced the winner of the Second Annual World Blogger Championship of Online Poker (WBCOOP), Dale "Daleroxxu" Philip. An active online and terrestrial poker player, Dale surpassed all previous accomplishments at the poker table by winning a $10,000 buy-in to this year's World Series of Poker (WSOP) main event, as well as hotel accommodations in Las Vegas, and $1,000 in spending money. This will be Dale's first WSOP appearance.
"Heads up was the first time I've felt so nervous in a game of poker," Philip said. "The difference between first and second place being $10,500 was what got me shaking. I mean, that's a huge difference and a lot of money to me!"
The second installment of this year's free roll, no-limit Texas Hold'em tournament offered exclusively to bloggers saw more than 2200 participants go all in for a chance at blogosphere stardom and poker fame.
