Global Gaming Business Magazine today announced that it has launched the Global Gaming Business Podcast, the first and only podcast covering the news and views of the gaming industry.
Here's the short definition of a podcast. Podcasting is the distribution of audio or video files, such as radio programs or music videos, over the internet for listening or viewing on mobile devices, like iPods or MP3 players, and personal computers. For the Global Gaming Business Podcast, audio files of interviews will be linked to the Global Gaming Business Web site, which will be available to download or to listen to via your laptop or desktop computer.
Global Gaming Business is well known for presenting the most in-depth and comprehensive news of any gaming publication, and now you can hear the original interviews with casino executives, public officials, suppliers, prominent personalities and others, in their own words. The weekly GGB Podcast kicks off on May 3 with an interview of George Maloof, president of the hugely successful Palms Casino Hotel in Las Vegas. Maloof will officially open the "Fantasy Tower" at the Palms this week and breaks ground for "Palms Place," a condotel that will feature private ownership.
Every Wednesday, the Global Gaming Business Podcast will be updated with a new and in-depth interview. Other Global Gaming Business Podcasts that will become available during the first few weeks include Phil Hogen, chairman of the National Indian Gaming Commission; Kathy Raymond, director of the new Venetian poker room; Ernie Stevens, chairman of the National Indian Gaming Association; Jeffrey Pollock, commissioner of the World Series of Poker; and Mike Rumbolz, chairman and CEO of Cash Systems Inc.
The Global Gaming Business Podcast is hosted by Roger Gros, editor of the magazine and highly regarded industry expert. His knowledge of the interviewees and the issues is extensive.
